#1 ChocZero

ChocZero is the cream of the crop when it comes to low carb and keto friendly chocolate! They sweeten all their products with a natural, plant-based, low glycemic sugar substitute called Monk Fruit Extract, meaning ZERO SUGAR ALCOHOLS, and also Soluble Corn Fiber which helps tame the sweetness of Monk Fruit.

They are definitely one of our favorites when it comes to chocolate bars and bark!

AND…they’ve finally come out with their keto chocolate chips! They have both milk and white chocolate flavors!

#2 Lily’s Dark and Milk Chocolate Chips

We use Lily’s Dark Chocolate Chips all the time when we bake (not very often). They are formulated as baking chips, so they have a higher cocoa content of 55%.

These have a ton of flavor since and melt and act like conventional chocolate chips, and they are our favorite sugar free chocolate chips!

Like all of their products, Lily’s uses a sweetener blend of mostly erythritol (a sugar alcohol) and a small amount of stevia.

This particular product also happens to be vegan, which is not true of all of their products like their chocolate bars.

For 60 chips, you only are set back 2g net carbs.

#3 Hershey’s

Hershey’s is the go-to chocolate brand for millions of people. There’s a familiarity with the flavor that you don’t get with a lot of other brands of chocolate.

If you simply have to have Hershey’s, they do have this great sugar-free chocolate chip alternative available. In fact, there is only 1g net carb per serving.

Do note that these are sweetened with maltitol, a sugar alcohol. While it doesn’t count as sugar, it has a relatively higher glycemic impact compared to other low carb sweeteners. That means you should definitely limit the amount you use as it can slow down your keto results when you eat it in high quantities.

Note: A cookie or two a day doesn’t count as high quantities. We are talking eating the whole bag in one sitting 😉
