It’s pretty eye-opening just how much bread is present in the modern diet. This is even more apparent once you embark on low carb and ketogenic diets.
Think about it: hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, sub sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, flatbread, toast, breadsticks, french toast, garlic bread, dipping bread… the list goes on and on.
We get around this dilemma by coming up with alternatives like lettuce wrapping burgers or placing ridiculously complicated food orders while eating out. But what if there was easy keto bread– one that you could buy?
Well, store bought keto bread exists!
But the question now is…Where can I buy keto bread?
We’ve found that the best answer to “Where to buy keto bread” is, in fact, online!
It used to be that you’d have to whip up some bread from scratch at home– and you could always tell by the souffle-like texture that you were essentially eating baked eggs.
So you hop on your phone and search for where to buy keto bread. But you get lost in a mess of high fiber and “low but not really low carb” bread that isn’t keto-friendly.
Luckily, a number of companies have stepped in to give us some great keto bread substitute options. And it is amazing how close they are to the real bread we grew up eating– all while staying keto-friendly!
Below, we share with you our favorite keto bread brands that you can have delivered right to your door!
The Criteria
When we look for a low carb and keto bread substitute, this is what we look for.
- Low net carbs: Total Carbohydrates minus the sugar alcohols and dietary fiber.
- Low glycemic index/load ingredients as the main ingredients
- The texture has to be palatable– no one is eating tree bark on our watch!
With low carb bread, we don’t see as many nut/seed flours used as the main ingredients. This is due to the unique texture of bread. Instead, you normally see more fibrous ingredients as a base to produce the airy texture of bread we all know and love.
Not all High Fiber Bread is Keto Bread
You’ll notice that most, if not all, keto bread products are high in fiber (which lowers the net effective carbohydrates, or net carbs). However, not all bread marketed as High Fiber will necessarily be low carb or keto-friendly.
With that said, if I were in a bind and had to choose between several non-keto bread options, I’d choose the bread with the higher fiber content.
Ok, ready for some easy keto bread options? Let’s get to the list of low carb bread brands you can buy online!

Top 10 Low Carb Keto Bread Brands
#1 SoLo Carb Country White Bread
[Check out our video review, above!]
We’ve tried a ton of low carb bread and our favorite is Country White from SoLo Carb. This is the closest we’ve found to “real bread”– and the bread you’ve been craving since starting the keto diet. It takes the spot in our list as the best keto bread to buy.
Baked by a small artisan shop out of Wisconsin, this is the closest thing on our list you’ll find to your conventional Wonder Bread.
The slices weigh in at 20g, which is just slightly smaller than a “normal” slice. SoLo bread’s texture is airier and less dense, which makes it softer.
SoLo Carb bread is great for normal sandwiches but also toasts and grills very well! (Grilled cheese!!)
As a plus, it also freezes very well (up to 6 months) and toasts up just fine afterward. And because of that, if you have room in your freezer, buy the 5-pack — it’s generally more than half off compared to the 3-pack!
There are a total 3 flavors (only 3g net carbs per slice!)
- Country White
- Harvest Wheat
- Artisan Rye
- Hard to find low carb rye bread anywhere else! And this is the real deal rye!
Ingredients: Vital Wheat Gluten, Wheat Flour (Wheat, Niacin (B3), Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate (B1), Riboflavin (B2), Folic Acid (B9)], Oat Bran, Vegetable Glycerin, Milled Flax Seed, Canola Oil, Butter (Milk), Eggs, Salt, Cultured Wheat Flour, Yeast.
#2 Sola Low Carb Sandwich Bread
Not to be confused with SoLo Carb bread, this is Sola Low Carb Sandwich Bread!
Sola Sweets is a company that makes a wide variety of low carb and keto-friendly products, like keto cereal! They even sell a variety pack with a bunch of their keto-friendly products.
Is Sola carb keto friendly? Well, like SoLo bread, varieties of Sola bread weigh in at only 2g net carbs per slice. So, the answer is yes!
Sola updated their formulation in 2020 to make the bread lower net carb and improve the taste and texture even better than it was before.
Flavors (all 2g net carbs):
We think this is another great option that is lower in carb count than most of the keto bread options on this list. This bread is super soft, thanks to the addition of some dough conditioners found in conventional sandwich bread.
Sola bread can also be enjoyed toasted, for foods like buttered toast, grilled cheese, etc. Just be sure to toast extra long— they do get eventually toast using a toaster, it just takes a while!
Wondering where to buy keto bread from Sola? It is not widely available in stores just yet, so your best bet is online on Amazon.
Also, check out the full Sola product line on Amazon!
Ingredients:Water, Wheat Gluten, Olive Pomace Oil, Modified Wheat Starch, Wheat Protein Isolate, Arrowroot Flour, Defatted Soy Flour, Yeast, Erythritol, Inulin, Sunflower Kernels, Oat Fiber, Organic Flax Seed Meal, Salt, Nonfat Milk, Natural Flavor, Distilled Monoglycerides, Buttermilk, Preservatives (Calcium Propionate, Sorbic Acid), Milk, Xanthan Gum, Wheat Flour, Monk Fruit Extract, Enzymes, Stevia Leaf Extract, Turmeric Color.
#3 Chompie’s Low Carb Multi-Grain Bread
Chompie’s Low Carb multi-grain bread has a texture similar to that of regular bread whole grain bread. Likewise, the ingredients are similar to what you’d find in multigrain bread, so if you’re into the taste of normal whole grain types of bread, Chompie’s will be right up your alley.
And, boy, is it low carb at 1g net carb per slice. Note that each slice is 7g of protein, so if you have a meat and cheese-based sandwich, the protein will add up. Also, you might need to toast this a little longer to get it to a desirable toast level.
- Multigrain
- 1g net carb per slice
- Cinnamon
- 2g net carbs per slice
- Sesame
- 1g net carb per slice
Ingredients (Multigrain): Water, vital wheat gluten, soy flour, crude wheat bran, unbleached whole wheat flour, sesame seeds, flax seeds, oat bran, rye flakes, salt, millet, nutritional yeast, soybean oil, yeast, flax seed oil, cultured wheat, natural grain vinegar, enzyme, stevia.
#4 ThinSlim Zero Carb Bread
Can’t stomach even the ultra-low-carb counts of the other keto bread on the list? ThinSlim Zero Carb Bread has been waiting to swoop in to save the day.
The Plain flavor has a ZERO net carb count. Yes, that means it’s no carb bread! This is made possible by the various high fiber ingredients, including 7g of fiber accounting for ALL the carbohydrates in the bread.
It’s great to have this option available for those who are extremely strict with their keto diet. The texture can be a little tougher, but that’s not surprising since it is basically comprised of all fiber.
But then again, you could eat a ton of Thin Slim Bread and not count a single carb toward your macros!
There are 5 Flavors, all 0g net carbs:
Ingredients (Plain): Wheat Protein Isolate, Vital Wheat Gluten, Oat Fiber, Modified Wheat Starch, Flaxseed Meal, Olive Oil, Chicory Root, Yeast, Salt, Apple Cider Vinegar
Note: ThinSlim also sells various other low carb bread products including bagels, muffins, buns and pizza crust!
#5 Sami’s 7-Grain Low Carb Bread
Sami’s Low Carb Bread is a high-protein, high-fiber bread with soy flour as the main ingredient. Soy has a distinct taste, so be sure to use flavorful sauces with your sandwiches to make sure the flavor isn’t masked by the bread.
Again, with these higher protein, higher fiber breads, toast for slightly longer than you normally would. However, the higher fiber content helps the bread toast up better than other similar brands that use less fiber.
Ingredients: Soy Flour, Bran Flour, Whole Wheat Flour, Oat Flour, Sesame Seed, Unbleached Flour, Vital Wheat, Sunflower Seeds, Salt, Olive Oil, Flax Seed, Dry Yeast, Soy Protein, Wheat Germ, Wheat Fiber, Cultured Organic Unbleached Wheat Flour.
#6 Great Low Carb Bread Co Plain Bread
As the name implies, Great Low Carb Bread Co makes low carb bread. The flaxseed and wheat means that it has a multi-grain taste. However, since the main ingredient isn’t soy flour, Great Low Carb Bread Company uses almond flour instead. That makes the bread denser/fattier, but the taste is more neutral than soy. This is probably why you see all those keto bread almond flour based recipes on the web.
This is a good option if you’re avoiding soy and comes in at only 1g net carb per slice. There are some preservatives as well, so the bread has a better chance of arriving and staying free of mold.
Ingredients: Water, Vital Wheat Gluten, Oat Fiber, Almond Flour, Flax Seed Meal, Wheat Fiber, Wheat Protein Isolate, Modified Wheat Starch, Virgin Olive Oil, Yeast, Calcium Proprionate, Enzyme, Vinegar, Salt, Stevia
#7 Oasis Low Carb Flaxseed Bread
A trend with our low carb and keto bread favorites is that the ones that are more wheat and gluten-based taste more like normal bread (surprise, surprise). At only 6g net carbs per slice, the Oasis Low Carb Flaxseed Bread is a great option for many.
It has a great texture and a taste which is very similar to some of the grainy, whole wheat bread you will find at health food stores. We like to use this bread for sandwiches where we don’t toast or cook the bread.
Note that the calories are pretty low, meaning it’s not very nutrient dense and may not get you as full as all of the other nutrient-packed bread on this list. That’s a win for some but others may be looking for higher numbers to hit their daily macros.
Ingredients: Sprouted Organically Grown Wheat Berries, Water, Vital Wheat Gluten, Flaxseed, Non-GMO Soy Flour, Whey Protein, Sea Salt, Cultured Wheat(Wheat Flour, Vinegar), Yeast, Dough Conditioner(Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Ascorbic Acid, Enzymes)
Top Gluten-Free Keto Bread / Low Carb Paleo Bread
We’ve separated out your gluten-free/Paleo options since without gluten or grains to make it easier to compare. These paleo keto bread options tend to have less of a traditional chew than the above options, though make up for it with simpler, more natural ingredients.
#8 Base Culture Keto Bread
The Base Culture Keto Sandwich Bread is a great tasting and moist bread, and the first keto bread we found when we went on our search of where to buy keto bread. So why is it so soft? The main ingredients include almond butter. As a result of this, the bread can get a bit oily when trying to toast, so keep an eye on them.
This bread comes in at a higher net carb content 4g net carbs per slice (32g) but it is a thick, dense slice–so one slice might be enough. For us, the main draw of this brand is that it is completely Paleo-friendly bread — made with nutrient dense coconut flour and coconut oil!
This is absolutely the best of the Paleo/natural keto bread options.
Ingredients: Egg, Almond Butter, Cashew Butter, Water, Honey, Golden Flaxseed Meal, Coconut Oil, Almond Flour, Coconut Flour, Apple Cider Vinegar, Sea Salt, Baking Soda.
#9 Liberated Coconut Flourless Bread
We love this brand because they produce our favorite zero carb cheese crackers. At 3.5g net carbs per slice, this Liberated Coconut Flourless Bread is in the ultra-low-carb territory.
You can see based on the ingredients list (Organic Egg, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Concentrate, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Baking Soda, Sea Salt) that this bread is heavy on egg and coconut.
This means the texture is somewhat like banana bread, rather than airy sandwich bread. Even though a slice is around 31g, because of the density of the coconut, the slices end up being slightly smaller than a typical sandwich slice. Because of the slight sweetness of the bread, we often use Liberated bread for peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.
If you’re going for a completely flourless keto bread alternative, this is the only one on the list that does not have any type of flour, which is unusual when you think of all the keto bread coconut flour based recipes there are out there.
This bread comes in two flavors. Check out our video review above for in-depth analysis.
- Cashew Creme – 2.5g net carbs per slice
- Coconut – 3.5g net carbs per slice
Also, we have some great keto jelly / keto jam options that are only 1g net carb per serving! Check out our favorite keto jelly brands!
#10 Mikey’s Sandwich Bread
Mikey’s is a great low carb and keto-friendly brand. You may have seen their English Muffins in the freezer aisle of your favorite grocery store. Their Sandwich Bread adds to their line of great keto bread products.
Note: If you’ve asked you self where to buy low carb bread near me, we’ve got your covered. Mikey’s distributes to a lot of brick and mortar grocery stores. Check out their store locator here.
This bread has a low carb count but like others where the main ingredients are egg and flour, it has an egg-like, souffle texture. Also, the almond flour adds fat, which is good for keto but can make things messy when toasting them up. You can’t really ever get that true toasted crunch you’d get with some of the other keto bread options. Still, the actual taste is nice and the bread ends up being very filling.
4g net carbs per slice
Ingredients: Eggs, Almond Flour, Water, Apple Cider Vinegar, Coconut Flour, Tapioca Starch, Golden Flaxseed Meal, Honey, Baking Soda, Egg Whites, Kosher Salt.
Not on our list
- Julian Bakery Keto Thin Bread
- Major quality-control issues last we checked, so this is probably not worth the risk to order online.
- Outer Aisle Cauliflower Sandwich Thins
- Love these things, but they are not even remotely in the sandwich bread category (more like flatbread).
That’s our list! We hope our list helped answer your question of where to buy low carb bread. We think buying online opens you up to a lot of options and the convenience of easy keto bread.

Should be able to buy in frozen sections in stores.
Yes, some are in stores. SoLo bread is sold locally in the Milwaukee area, Sola Bread is in various places like HEB or Hyvee in the Midwest and Liberated is in the frozen section in some Sprouts in the South.
I bought a Nature’s Own Life Double Fiber, and am confused on how to calculate the net carbs, have you ever tried this bread before? These are the carbs listed:
Total Carb 11g
Dietary Fiber 4g
Soluble Fiber 1g
Insoluble Fiber 3g
Sugars less than 1g
Do we subtract all these fibers from the total? Or just the dietary fiber? I’m wondering if it’s 4g Net per slice or 8g?
Hi Vivian! They just love adding more lines to our nutrition labels don’t they 😀 So for this you would just subtract the 4g total dietary fiber from the total carb of 11g because soluble fiber (1g) plus the insoluble fiber(3g) makes up the total dietary fiber of 4g. So it would be 7g net carb per slice. Hopefully this is helpful!
You have just helped me enjoy life again!!!! In the words of Oprah “I love bread!” . Thank you for such great info..

Hi Vanessa,
We recognize this brand’s logo but have never tried them before. Thanks for the heads up! We’ll grab some of the 7 grain and gluten-free low carb varieties when we can and post a review. Nutrition looks good though!
Thanks!
Sonja
Hey ya’ll! How come Uprising bread isn’t on the list? 2 net carbs and 9 grabs of fiber. Anything against including?
I found this “extraordinary bites” keto brand in Walmart in the frozen section. It says one net carb. Has anyone tried it? I cant seem to find any info on that brand.
what about franz keto bread?
what about franz keto bread
Aldi’s store brand (L’Oven Fresh) has a bread with 0g Net carbs per slice. $3.99 per loaf (14 servings, 1 slice per serving ) Available in 2 varieties . Wheat and Multiseed. 5g protein per serving and Vegan as well.
Thanks for the heads up!
we buy ours at Aldi’s, zero net carbs and $3.99 a loaf… and tastes like bread (I like the multiseed the best)
Sola Bread is available at Costco
And ready we’ll proceed
Have you tried the Keto-Friendly Bread from Natural Ovens? On Amazon it is cray expensive, but up North (Ohio), you can get it for 2 loaves for $7, which is a sweet deal. This bread is flipping amazing! We use it all the time at parties, and non keto people cannot believe that it is 0 Net carbs…
This is the link on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Ovens-Bakery-Keto-Friendly-Loaves/dp/B08SWL17HS
Aldi has keto friendly breads made by L’OVEN FRESH – two different versions – and they are really good breads. I have tested my glucose before and after (several times at half hour intervals) eating it and it does not affect me. Not saying it won’t others – best to do some testing yourself. I choose the multi-seed as opposed to the wheat version because the multi-seed, to me, tastes better. It toasts great, makes a great sandwich or just great with an ounce of butter, some dill, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Couple more options from Amazon I use. Hero Brand and “Kiss My Keto”. I test my blood using a meter a few times a week and I can promise these do NOT knock you out of ketosis. Hero has a flour tortilla that works very well in all circumstances.
You are inundated with comments here, but I wanted to note that I read on another site that Chompies cinnamon bread spiked the user’s bloodsugar to around 150 from fasting. This person, bless their well-intentioned heart, seems to really have an axe to grind about food labeling, and I’m not sure about all of their methodology, but it’s interesting. I want to see if the VA will give me a full time blood-sugar monitor.
